"In the beginning, I chose 1 object, photo, color palette or mood.  I paint with acrylics & mixed media of handmade papers, found objects, digital media, texture, and the joy of feeling the brushstrokes & palette knives of luscious colorful paint.  Almost never do I have a set plan in mind.  However, I am always aware of principles and elements of design.  Once I start, I let the process of creating guide me through, taking risks, making errors, moving through to the finale.  I am a layerist at heart, and I love the process more than the end result.  I love to create anywhere.  You might even find me with tile saw laying stone walls outside my home.  Anything to create art!”
