I've always loved Color & Design which lead me to painting. I'm not much of a plein air painter because of the strong sun.  I can create a painting in my studio much is much easier with my full spectrum lighting.  I paint from the heart and what I love.

My truly favorite paintings to create would be Country French still life's with sunflowers, florals, local beach scenes, fun roosters & pigs.

I've won many local poster competitions with Capitola Art & Wine, Capitola Begonia, Wharf to Wharf and Scotts Valley Art & Wine.   Recently I posted many of them on Facebook for a fund raiser for the CZU fire victims and sold more than I ever thought. Every dollar helped!

My medium of choice has been watercolor, acrylic and casein which is a paint which is flat paint but beautiful.

I love to share my knowledge of painting with what I know.  In 2019 I starting teaching students at my home to teach me how to teach on the Cunard Queen Mary 2. I taught form from England to New York and received rave reviews. I'm looking forward to teaching again hopefully soon.
