I was born in London, England, where I studied oil painting as a youth at St. Martin's School of Art and Design. During the late 1980's, by then a resident citizen of the US, I began exploring watercolors, and soon produced a wide variety of images based on local scenes, and scenes from many travels around Europe. Lately, I have begun to work in acrylics with which I have discovered a whole new love of color.
Over the past 44 years I designed a number of annual posters for the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, the Capitola Art & Wine Festival, the Capitola Begonia Festival, and the Wharf-to-Wharf Race. My artwork has been exhibited in major Northern California watercolor shows, featured on the cover of a national art magazine, published in the calendar "Celebration of American Women Artists", included in a book "The Best of Watercolors", and self-published in a collection of local watercolor sketches, "Sand Between Your Toes".
I currently live in Soquel with my husband, Lee, and I am always busy with a multitude of projects
