Rica de la Luz is a mestiza singer/songwriter, artist, henna practitioner and sometimes poet from Santa Cruz, Ca.
She is half of the emerging ArtNerShip Sacred Poets, with Joseph Jason Santiago LaCour. The two of them have been inspiring each other to reach deeper and share more. She can often be found in a tree, near the ocean or in a kitchen making a delicious mess. Her first collection “MotherLovin Poems” was released fall 2019 on DOPE POET LOVE Press. A series of painting “Reclaiming” are available in archival quality prints, along with other studies of nature and dream medicine. She is available for mural and tattoo design commissions, public and private performance, collaborations and pop-up classes.
