Artist Statement
Various themes are explored in series always having to do with the individual, identity and how we present ourselves in the world. These themes are inspired from myriad sources including chance remarks, pictures in magazines, exhibitions in galleries, found shapes and introspection. Trying to get to the gist of the idea by creating a visual vocabulary, the artist seeks to create a universal language to speak through her art.
