Carol Heenan

Hello and welcome to my page! I am so excited to be a part of the Santa Cruz VISUAL ARTS NETWORK. I am an Aptos-based artist working in encaustic/collage.  Living in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains, with so much natural beauty and wildlife, inspires my love of nature. As a young girl I was exposed and intrigued by all things vintage, especially old photos and papers. Incorporating these into my art with molten beeswax, brings me much joy. I want to convey to the viewer a feeling of delight and tranquility.
